“I have a dream” – What is your dream?

It’s been an historic week for our American friends; the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King’s ‘I Have a Dream’ speech and the historic march on Washington, we saw US President Barack Obama, the first american black president, deliver a speech nearly to the minute 50 years on. Martin Luther King’s speech marked the peak of a series of protests against racial discrimination that began with Rosa Parks when she refused to give up her bus seat for a white passenger in 1955. Amazing how one woman’s brave action sparked the greatest movement in American civil rights!

What are your dreams?

Are you living each day in pursuit of your dreams? We have seen how one woman’s stand against injustice sparked the dreams of many, what can we learn from Rosa Parks? How can we inspire others to pursue their dreams?

Tony Robbins: “I have a dream that…”

Sir. Richard Branson: “I have a dream that…”

Chrissy Teigen: “I have a dream that…”

Use this week to inspire your dreams, what are your dreams, passions, and life goals? Don’t let people stop you in the pursuit of your dreams! I’ll leave the last word with the great, late Steve Jobs:

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.  Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living with the results of other people’s thinking.  Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice, heart and intuition.  They somehow already know what you truly want to become.  Everything else is secondary.”
