What questions do you ask of yourself?

We question ourselves all the time in everything we do. We question what to wear that day, what to eat, what type of partner we want, who we are as an individual.

Questions lead to decisions. What questions we ask ourselves determines what answers we get and ultimately the outcomes that we achieve. By asking ourselves thought provoking and challenging questions we can push ourselves further to explore what makes us tick, who we are and what we want to achieve. Questions allow us to analyse not only the decisions we are going to make yet those in which we have made so we can learn from each and every experience.

Powerful and positive questions lead to powerful and positive answers, with powerful and positive outcomes.

  • Are you living the best life that you possibly could?
  • What are you grateful for in your life right now?
  • Am I setting high enough standards for myself?
  • What would you do today if it was your last?
  • How do I want to be remembered?

Make questions specific, target the areas that you feel need improvement and question what you can do to make that shift. Question yourself to go further, to grow and to become more. Question the life you want, then make powerful and positive decisions to get it.

Let me know how you have questioned aspects of your life and the great outcomes they have led to!

Life is a journey unique to you!

What journey do you wish to live for your life?

Life is a journey, yours is unique to you. No matter who we are or where we are from, we all have our own unique journey. Your journey will be one of challenges and learning. Learn from everything that happens, pay attention, and let it add to the path you take. You are in control as to whether you succeed. The gift of life is having the power to control the decisions you make in deciding upon that unique journey.Life is a journey, man walking his own path!

You are the one who is the single biggest influence in your journey!

If you couldn’t fail, what would be your journey? Now make it so that you don’t fail!

Desire creates the dreams that lead to your destiny. No dream is ever too big, your journey needs to be thought through with how you want your life to be and who you are going to be. The journey begins by determining what it is you most desire and every journey needs a plan right? You need to focus on every aspect of you – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Learn how to overcome obstacles, get rid of any limiting beliefs and emotions. Be prepared to jump over any hurdles that may come your way, if you see them coming, leap over them early. If they spring up, know that you have everything you need to knock it down!

Life can give you everything you desire and so much more. Focus upon what you need to do to make your journey one that you dream of! Make it exciting, challenging and adventurous, but most of all make it yours!

Increase your Positive Energy and Enthusiasm!

How do we arrive at a place in our lives where we feel so ‘alive’ and ‘juiced’ that every day is an outstanding day?

Good feelings are great energy boosters!

Jumping couple high energy

The way to increase energy is to find lots of things to be enthusiastic about. Enthusiasm, that great emotional state that has infinite possibilities to drive us forward, enables us to achieve what we set out to do and to reach higher than we ever thought possible.

Being around people who exude positive energy is stimulating, inspiring and attractive!

By exuding positive energy you will become a people magnet and being energised will make you a natural magnet for success. People will want to be around you, want to listen to you, to learn from you, to be part of the positive environment that you are.

Some people get ‘stuck’ at a place in their lives, and they do not know how to move forward. It is not possible to be ‘stuck’ if you kick energy into your life. Energy is always in motion, things are always changing. If you continue to repeat patterns that you know are not successful, if you do the same things, feel the same then things will remain ‘stuck’. So if you want things to change – Energy!

You have what it takes to face life’s challenges, take advantage of the opportunities that arise, use the energy you have inside you to fuel whatever you want!

Live your life, you only get one!

My mantra or saying if you will is ‘Live well, Laugh often and Live with passion!’, now I have bad days and problems like anyone else but I don’t let them consume or rule me. I wanted to share with you some of the things that remind me to keep positive and remain focused on my goals, hopefully they will inspire you to!

You may like it or hate it, but it will be yours for the entire period this time around.

You are enrolled in a full time school called Life. Each day in school you will have the opportunity to learn lessons. You may like the lessons or think them irrelevant or stupid.

Growth is a process of trial and error, experimentation. The ‘failed’ experiments are as much part of the process as the experiments that ultimately ‘work’.

A lesson is presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. When you have learned it, you go on to the next lesson.

There is no part of life that does not contain a lesson. If you are alive, there are lessons to be learned.

When your ‘there’ has become ‘here’ – you will simply obtain another ‘there’ that will, again, look better than ‘here’.

You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love/hate about yourself.

You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours.

All you need do is look, listen and trust.

Inspiration, Commitment & Drive meet Mark Colbourne!

Hi All

I am just delighted this week for my friend winning GOLD at the Para Olympics games London 2012, if ever you needed inspiration to succeed just look at the personal journeys many of the Para-Olympic athletes who against all the odds have followed their dreams!

Winning a sliver medal on Thursday and gold on Friday marks an amazing turnaround in his life. Would you believe that only 3 years ago he was involved in a devastating paragliding accident that resulted in 5 months in hospital with a broken back. He admitted during his darkest moments he believed his life was over, it just goes to show his strength of character to come back and win Olympic gold! Due to nerve damage he still has no feeling in his legs, only his quads, which have powered him around the velodrome to glory.

Mark was a former ruby player and all round sports nut so to break his back was just devastating, after his accident he tried a number of sports before he found cycling, just going to show that if you don’t succeed at first keep trying until it clicks! For Mark it was cycling, although at first he was using stabilizers; in a remarkably short space of time, a lot of dedication, hard work and sheer determination he was soon competing on the world stage.

Mark has an amazing story and I hope it will inspire a lot of people, he is one of the good guys and deserves every bit of success, Mark says:

“I am not sure what my story says other than if you face adversity head on, if you stay positive, you never know what door will open for you.”

I hope that you agree with me that his story illustrates with commitment, focus and a positive mental attitude anything can be achieved! Well done Mark!
